Guillaume Laforge has posted on the Groovy lists that snapshot packages of the upcoming 1.5.7 and 1.6-beta-2 versions are up for grabs.

Hi all,

With the goal to release both Groovy 1.5.7 and 1.6-beta-2 on Thursday,
I've uploaded a snapshot on the distribution area of those two
branches to gather some feedback from you all.

You can find those binary snapshots here:
http://dist.groovy.codehaus.org/distributions/temp/

If you've got a project using 1.5.x or if you're living on the edge
with 1.6-beta-1, please try to test and run your projects with these
snapshots to see if all goes well, and please report if you notice a
regression, any performance improvement or degradation.

Thanks in advance!
