Daily Dose: JSON Rendering Engine Marches to a New "Tempo"
Tempo is a new JSON rendering engine used for building data templates in pure HTML. When you build the data templates, there is a clear separation between JavaScript and HTML files (no JS in your HTML). Fast rendering speeds are standard and the
program has a small memory footprint. Tempo works with several browsers including Safari, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer 6+. The open source software is available for download via GitHub.

Java.net was taken offline late last week for an infrastructure migration and major website enhancements. The new Java.net is merged with parts of the Kenai.com web
community. New updates to the site will be ongoing until at least June

Spring Social 1.0.0.M2 Gets Friendlier
The second milestone of Spring Social 1.0 was just released and now allows developers to integrate exposed APIs, including Facebook and Twitter, into their applications. A service provider framework allows hosted service providers to connect to local user accounts. These users now can authenticate with the application through their Facebook and Twitter accounts.
