GR8Conf Europe 2011
The next edition of GR8Conf Europe is ready to rock!
This year with the most exciting lineup of all times:
Two conference days, this year with two tracks, to cover all the exciting technologies in the Groovy Ecosystem.
We have well over 20 speakers, among others Peter Ledbrook, Hamlet D'Arcy, Gullaume Laforge, Vaclav Pech, Paul King, Rob Fletcher, MrHaKi, Peter Niederwieser, Dierk König, Burt Becwith - just to mention a few.
The agenda is packed with GR8 sessions, so many that we had to split it into two tracks. The one track will mainly cover Groovy, Gradle, Spock, GPars and other Groovy related technologies. The second track is dedicated to technologies covering Grails and the plugin ecosystem. To get a complete overview of the sessions, please have a look at the complete agenda
If you are new to Groovy and Grails, the University day is for you! We have a track where you can Get Groovy and Kickstart your Grails knowledge. Two tutorials, where you can get your hands into some Groovy code and where you will go home with your first running Grails application.
If that sounds too easy for you, we have an advanced track, where you will get to know all about AST transformations in the AST Lab. You will also get an indepth tutorial on how to build your own Grails plugin.
And if that is not enough coding for you, you can finish the University Day off, by going to Hackergarten. Here you can contribute to your favorite Open Source project!
